We arrived Thursday morning, and from the moment we set foot into the Canadian air, we experienced incredible moments. The Light and Sound show at the Parliament was a spectacular surprise, petting Odie - the Royal Canadian Mounted Police horse that his Mountie owner invited us to spend time with, the changing of the guard - not only at the Parliament, but also the Bagpipe processional guard change at the Governor General's residence. We enjoyed the Aborigine Indian reserve, and the basin in that beautiful river, with its amazing bridge spans...the getting lost in a neighborhood in Quebec, and receiving directions from the friendliest residents....it was all quite the adventure. The most amazing joy was your donwtown! What an alive atmosphere. Bikers and elderly couiples holding hands, dogs tied to car handles watching their owners enjoy a luncheon at one of the numerous enjoyable sidewalk cafe's, the open air fresh fruti/vegetable/flower markets, the many coffee shops and tea shops. Dinner at Mezzanote, with Mark (?) Mc Dermott - Torrie Spelling's (gorgeous, by the way) husband and his entourage at the next table.....and DJ Dave and his entourage out on the outside patio...... And the crowning event - SUNDAY'S WEDDING EVENT!!! It could not have been more perfect. The ladies are all so beautiful of spirit, of heart, and the most gracious and fun group to hang out with in the afternoon.
